Cleansers are a dime a dozen so it’s hard to know which are best for your particular need and, importantly, which are worth your money. Here are a few I’ve tried and come back to over and over:

Purity

Purity’s Pore Extractor Mask is hands down one of my all time favorites. It’s like a scrub, mask, cleanser all in one and makes my face feel SO clean and fresh. On days when I feel like I just can’t get my skin truly clean, I turn to this and don’t look back. Some days, I like to use this as a mask and then follow up with a separate cleanser to get my skin extra clean.

Ole Henriksen

There are a few Ole-H products I like but one of my favorites is the Find Your Balance oil control cleanser. I randomly picked this up in London when I needed a cleanser at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised and added it to my regular collection. Even better, they sell in a travel-friendly 2 oz version.

Eve Lom

I can’t get enough of the scent! I like EL’s original balm cleanser which has a somewhat medicinal yet clean scent and leaves skin baby soft. Use it with their signature muslin cloths for a truly luxurious cleansing experience. I love using this at night as the second round in a double-cleanse routine.

Lemons

Yes, the fruit. Several years back, I watched a professional makeup artist on YouTube use lemons to cleanse and tone her face and it’s stuck with me. I do this whenever I want my skin feeling super smooth and fresh. It dovetails nicely with my morning lemon water routine — after squeezing half a lemon into my water (pre-coffee), I rub the half over my face and rinse. It’s a great way to get the the last drop out of any lemon. Follow this at night with the Eve Lom balm cleanser for skin that’s squeaky clean and super soft.

Stay clean!
