I found myself scrolling on New Year’s Day and came across an Instagram post that really stood out to me. Of course, there were tons of Happy New Year posts, and lots of stories with ideas on what to do differently this year, etc.

I get those. The New Year always bring time for reflection and an almost free pass sense of starting anew. And then I came across this one post that simply said, “Hello, 2023. Please be nice.”

It was everything.

So simple.

So perfect.

After the recent pandemic, as well as other personal experiences I’m sure we’ve all dealt with, this said it all. PLEASE BE NICE. A message to the universe with a simple request.

It was profound and powerful. And, I will take it with me throughout the year - both as a universal request as well as a mantra in which to conduct myself. Be nice, please. It’s as simple as that.
