French favorites

I heard about a couple of products…. the secret to French beauty so to speak….and have been giving them a try over the past month. The results have been great.

The first is ialuset hyaluronic acid cream. Used on damp skin, it helps to keep moisture in and I use it as a base later after cleansing and follow with an additional moisturizer. Notably, I use it at night. Also notable, I have used it after shaving my legs and it 1) didn’t sting (a personal sign of a junkie product) and 2) it left my skin sooooo soft.

The second is A313. I use this only a couple of times per week as it can cause sensitivity, as retinol products can. This should be used on dry skin and is almost more of an ointment than a cream. A little goes a long way, so just a dab of A313 spread over my face and followed with an additional facial moisturizer leaves my skin feeling great in the morning (again, I only use this at night).

Side tip: I have keratosis Polaris (IYKYK), and have tried A313 on my arms. Applying a thin layer to the affected skin on my arms results in soft and clear(er) skin in the morning.

I am excited to keep this experiment going for a while.
